Homework
Homework assignments
consist of written, study, and reading exercises. The
purpose for homework is to reinforce materials presented
during school hours. It is an important part of the
learning process. Assignments must be completed and
submitted when due.
Homework is assigned
to: help the student become more self-reliant, learn to
work independently; improve the skills that have been
taught in class; complete certain projects that require
individual and creative effort; expand on knowledge that
has been taught.
Parents and teachers
realize that some children need more time to accomplish
/assimilate work than others-individual differences
should be taken into account. Allow a “break” during
homework for a few minutes. Provide the proper atmosphere
for study--no TV or radio background--a quiet room free
of interruptions.

ATTENDANCE
Punctuality and
regular attendance are required. Every child should
attend everyday except for illness. A student who is
tardy must report to the office before attending class and
is considered tardy if he/she arrives after the 8:00 A.M.
bell. It is embarrassing to a child and disruptive to a
class when a student is late.
